After the successful opening of our restaurant, demand from satisfied customers grew rapidly. Within year, corporate clients and patrons encouraged us to expand into catering services. Today, Swade Bangladesh proudly caters to corporate office canteens, weddings, and social gatherings, delivering the same exceptional flavors and standards that made our restaurant a success. With over 22 years of experience in the global hospitality industry, Shaheen Sarwar is a seasoned professional who brings passion, precision, and a deep understanding of guest satisfaction to the table. His journey began in some of the world’s most prestigious five-star hotels, including Le Méridien Piccadilly Circus in London and Le Méridien Dhaka, where he held various leadership roles and refined his expertise in hotel operations, fine dining, and service excellence.
Shaheen holds a degree in Hospitality Management from the UK, which laid the foundation for his high standards and international perspective on food and hospitality.
In 2023, driven by a lifelong dream of entrepreneurship, he launched Swade Bangladesh, a premium restaurant brand focused on delivering authentic and diverse culinary experiences. In a short span of time, Swade Bangladesh has become a trusted name among food lovers in Dhaka, known for its quality, consistency, and warm service.
Building on this success, Shaheen recently expanded the brand with a new outlet — Nehari & Tehari, located in Dhaka Cantonment, celebrating the bold flavors of traditional Bangladeshi cuisine.
In January 2024, Swade Bangladesh entered the corporate catering space, now proudly serving daily meals and event catering to a growing list of esteemed clients including Samsung, SMC, WaterAid, NSD School, the Ministry of Agriculture, and Coach Kanchon Academy, among others.
Shaheen’s vision is to build a hospitality brand that represents trust, taste, and top-tier service, while staying rooted in the rich culinary heritage of Bangladesh.
